Ifrane is a city located in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco and is often referred to as “Morocco’s Switzerland” due to its strong European style and alpine like setting. Situated at an altitude of around 5,460 feet above sea level, Ifrane stands out for its cool climate, clean environment, and well planned layout, which is quite different from many other Moroccan cities. The town is known for its neat streets, red roofed houses, and beautifully maintained surroundings that give it a calm and orderly appearance. Blooming flower beds, open parks, and nearby lakes add to its charm, making it a pleasant destination for nature lovers. The surrounding area features farms and vineyards that contribute to the region’s greenery and rural character. Ifrane is also home to beautiful hotels and resorts that blend comfort with scenic views.

Hotels & Transfers
Hotel Stay: During this trip, the stay was at Hotel Michlifen Ifrane Suites & Spa, located at an altitude of approximately 1,650 metres. It was one of the most beautiful hotels we experienced during our travels, especially for its architecture, natural surroundings, gardens, and room style.
Transfers: From Casablanca, the journey takes around four hours by road, with beautiful natural scenery along the way. Based on our experience, it is better to arrange transfers with the support of a tour operator or the hotel.
