Kuwait is a country in the Middle East with a rich cultural heritage that dates back to antiquity, shaped by its history as a trading hub along the Arabian Gulf. The nation blends tradition with modern development, offering a distinctive character rooted in heritage and progress. Kuwait City, the capital, is known for its striking modern architecture, impressive skyscrapers, and iconic landmarks such as the Kuwait Towers and water towers that define the city’s skyline. Kuwait International Airport (KWI) is the country’s only airport and serves as the main gateway to Kuwait, connecting the nation to regional and international destinations through several airlines.
