Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

Ras Al Khaimah is the northernmost Emirate of the United Arab Emirates. A perfect holiday destination with many hotels and resorts, golden beaches, terracotta deserts, and more. Ras Al Khaimah has some of the most spectacular cultural sites, museums, and trendy shopping malls and resorts, allowing you to experience both traditional and modern lifestyles close to nature. Surrounded by the majestic Hajar Mountains and serene mangroves, it offers a refreshing contrast to the urban buzz. Known as the nature Emirate, it’s a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with activities like hiking, ziplining, and kayaking adding to its charm.

Positioned as Ras Al Khaimah’s one of the premium destinations, Al Marjan Island is a group of 4 coral-shaped islands in an artificial archipelago. The highlights of Al Marjan Island that I have noticed include, Al Marjan Promenade, Al Marjan Island Playground, Watersports, Jet-Skiing, Kayaking, Health clubs and Fitness, Wellness, international Restaurant options, Adventure Sports, within 3 kilometers Al Hamra Shopping Mall, Beaches and more. As per the updates, the Island is 4.5 kilometers into the sea, and covers an area of 2.7 million square meters.

SUMMER DRIVE TO RAS AL KHAIMAH
A summer drive to Ras Al Khaimah offered a refreshing change of pace, with a stay at Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah, Marjan Island, a beachfront hotel located near the end of Marjan Island. The itinerary included Al Marjan Promenade, Al Qasr Al Ghamdah (an abandoned palace, now a museum), Al Qawasim Corniche, and dinner at Moti Mahal Deluxe along the Corniche. The next day featured visits to Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village, Mina Al Arab, and the city center areas of Al Nakheel and the Old Market. Ras Al Khaimah continues to reveal more natural and cultural experiences, many typically associated with winter. However, this journey demonstrated that summer is equally rewarding when planned thoughtfully. With early morning and evening outdoor visits, pleasant Corniche temperatures around 30–35 °C, and the benefits of fewer crowds and attractive hotel rates, the experience was both comfortable and cost-effective.
